Ladies Affair Initiative

We are a non-profit and non-political organization that exists as a women development initiative which advocates for greater opportunities for the female folks by providing the various and the right support needed for their personal growth and fulfillment.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To help women and girls to discover, develop and pursue their different passions in business, career and/or industry.
2. To promote and to work towards the improvement of economic, employment and social conditions of women.
3. To stimulate interest of women in Federal, State and Local government affairs, and to encourage women to participate in the business of government at all levels.
4. To encourage and assist women and girls to acquire further education and training.
5. To affiliate with other organizations to promote mutual interests of women.
6. To provide opportunities for interaction between members and other organizations both in Nigeria and Globally.
7. To lobby for change in law and practice which will achieve economic equity and economic security for women, and to work for change in attitudes which will bring about equality of opportunity for women in education and employment.
8. To promote the varied abilities and accomplishments of its membership and to encourage the development of the career and leadership aspirations of women.
9. To provide a platform through which NGO’s and charitable causes can collaborate with one another.
10. To provide a reliable platform through which individuals home and abroad can make donations towards causes aimed at making social impact.
11. To promote female professionals on maximizing their potentials in their chosen fields and making societal impact in return.
12. To create and promote networking forums amongst her members and the society.
13. To organize and assist start-up grants for budding female entrepreneurs in the society.
14. To empower the needy and less privileged in the society .
15. To provide essential care and basic needs for widows.
16. To promote the general wellbeing of women and girls especially by supporting and providing them access to formal and informal education.
17. Empowerment of widows and less privileged in the society through training, counseling and self reliance programs.
